Kamilla Byriel is the woman behind Lollys Laundry.
She is a renowned Danish designer, who has already left her mark on other Danish brands. In 2007 Kamilla launched Lollys Laundry, where she creates the styles that she loves - always with a focus on ”Easy to wear with casual coolness”.
Kamilla is an ambassador for the non-profit organisation “Gadens Born” making a difference for underprivileged children. This is the 5th year doing incredible work helping children in Kolkata, India.
Responsibility
At Lollys Laundry, we work closely with trusted suppliers to become better together and uphold the strict standards for both people and the planet, including human rights, labour and the environment.
Our suppliers all have different certifications to ensure these standards, including SEDEX certification.
We use sea and rail freight as much as possible to minimize the pollution. We only produce to placed orders. This is to avoid any unnecessary overproduction. If we do have any excess from production, we donate this to several aid organisations, who we work very closely with to help people in need.
Fabrics
Lollys Laundry predominately use natural fibres including cotton, wool, mohair and leather. Recently ECOVERO viscose has been introduced which is a pulp derived from wood with a manufacturing process low in emissions and water impact.
Also Lollys Laundry use JIAREN fibres which is a new technology creating recycled polyester which has been made from old garments from Adidas, H&M and Ikea etc. This reduces co2 emissions and waste.
